Well followers life has been pretty busy for the past month which is why I have not posted. The past month I have gone to a wedding, done stuff with friends, and given placement tests to students at work. Along with going to bridal showers and helping prepare for my brother's wedding in three weeks. Yes, my brother is getting married on May 18th! That's 8 days after I turn 25. I still can't believe I'll be that old. I'm starting to feel it too. I must say I am very ready for the summer to begin, but I'm also very tired and will definitely need the break. Today I went and had crawfish with friends... twas marvelous and can't wait until fam gets here in about 2 weeks! Here are some pictures from all the great events, but just a few cause if you want all the pics you gotta look on the book of faces.

It has been almost a month since I last posted on here and the truth is that I haven't really had much to talk about. However, much has been happening in my life. To start off I have truly been able to find out a ton about myself. I have to say that all of it has been a huge growing experience. I have been able to truly figure out what it means to be a friend to someone and be there when a friend needs you. Also, I have learned how to not get too upset with my family... I love my family, but at times family doesn't always get along. A friend of mine recently taught me that when I get upset to just calmly say okay and then think about it later when I don't have to stress on it. I have gotten to the point where I have been reading my scriptures more and been studying my french more and reading my Ensign each month. I love listening to the words of the Prophets even more now than I used to. I love going up to the temple and doing sessions or even to just drive by and listen to the peacefulness that surrounds me. On the way to work each morning I have a cd in my stereo system so I can just stay calm and have a chance to relax.
Also, I have realized that Utah isn't such a crazy place and isn't that bad... to be totally honest when I first left college and came to Utah I wasn't very excited about living here. However, the place has grown on me... I think most of it has to do with the amazing people I have met. I have truly been blessed at this time in my life. I have some of the greatest friends that I have ever had. This includes some of the people I knew from college... I have realized that life can truly keep going and keep getting better.
Lastly, I want to remind everyone that this weekend is General Conference if you aren't a member of my church you can still watch it at LDS.org or after each session on youtube on the mormon channel. This is where we receive inspiration from the Lord through His servants. Also, my favorite holiday is coming up... Easter approaches and I just wanted to let everyone know that if they want to see what I did last year for Easter to just look at my archives from Easter and you can see my reflections on the week of Easter! May God continue to bless each and every one of us!
I've been hearing this song a ton lately and after really listening to the lyrics I realized how important some of the words are to me right now. I realize that there is so much in this life that I still don't understand, but I know in due time I will understand and once I do I will enjoy every bit of it! So, for those that want the lyrics........
Time, why you punish me? Like a wave crashing into the shore You wash away my dreams Time, why you walk away? oh, oh Like a friend with somewhere to go You left me crying
And you'll teach me 'about tomorrow And all the pain and sorrow running free? 'Cause tomorrow's just another day And I don't believe in time
Time, I don't understand Children killing in the streets Dying for the color of a rag Time, leave you red and blue Wash them in the ocean, make them clean Maybe their mothers won't cry tonight
2-Can you teach me 'about tomorrow With all the pain and sorrow running free? And tomorrow's just another day And I don't believe in...
1-Time is wasted, time walking Time, time You ain't no friend of mine I don't know where I'm going I think I'm out of my mind Thinking about time
And if I die tomorrow, yeah Then lay me down to sleep (rpt 1)
Time, you left me standing there Like a tree growing all alone The wind just stripped me bare Stripped me bare Time, the past has come and gone, gone The future's far away An hour only lasts for one second, one second (rpt 2, 1, 1)
Time without courage, time without fear Is just wasted, wasted, wasted time Oh, oh, oh, ooh ooh ooh
I am sorry I have to tell you in this way so publicly, but I know not how else to tell you. It pains me that we have grown apart and cannot speak to each other, but I wanted to let you know how proud I am of you for finally standing up for something in your life. I think I knew that one day it would all come down to this... however, I didn't want to believe it. I hope and pray that one day all will be resolved and we can be friends once again, but I know that for now it is not possible. Do I know if you will ever see this? No, but what I do know is that I will forever be glad that we shared those many memories together. I want you to know that no matter what happens you will always be the same to me. I will never think any less of you. Again, I apologize that this is so public for many people to see it online, but I know not how else to tell you! I wish you the best in all of your pursuits in life and all the happiness life can bring you!
