So as many may have noticed I have decided to start a recipe blog. Well, being the kind of blog it is I want to try out most of the recipes before I post them... now, here is the deal... I know some of you people out there are really itching to get some good Louisiana recipes on your hands, or some real good southern ones... well, I gotta know which ones you want since there are plenty and then I will do my best to post them up for you. So, this is my call for recipes just respond to this blog on what recipes you are DYING to see and I will work on getting those up for you and if you have yet to see my new blog just go here... Une Création Nourriture
Hope to see some good suggestions soon!

Quarter of the way to a Century/ First Wedding in 12.5 years!
So, on the 10th I turned 25 and my family and the greatest friends ever all made it a pretty special day. With tension high because my brother got married on the 18th it was a pretty chill day! Everything in life seems to be going okay for me as long as I remember to keep my head up high and look at life with my chin up. I need to buckle down and just dedicate 1 hour every day to studying and keep looking around for a new job. Just gotta keep that head up. Also, I just put up a new blog on recipes... I want to also start reading more books for my review blog, but that may have to go on the back burner if I get into the new career of my choice. So, the new blog site is francsfoods.blogspot.com check it out if you have the time. Now for a few pictures from the birthday and the wedding... I have very few words these days... sorry readers... just enjoy the pics especially the wedding ones cause it may be a bit before I put them on fb. :)

Ooobladee Ooblada Life Goes On..
So, as of late I have had some pretty huge blows in my life, but instead of sitting around and sulking and feeling sorry for myself I have decided to hold my head up high and think all is well cause LIFE GOES ON! I am going to leave people guessing as to what I want to do in my life next... let's just say the next few months are going to be full of working (I'm finding a new job) and studying hard for a test I've been SERIOUS about taking because I want to go back to school for a dream... if you would like to know for well, I'll just leave a few clues, but first here is the fam

Thanks to a friend...
I hope this friend ends up reading this post. I know he reads many of my posts and well I really hope he sees this one. I'm not going to say his name, but I'm sure he knows it's him (of course knowing me I will tell him it's him).
Anyway, over the past few months a few things have gotten extremely rough in my life, but I've somehow managed to hold my head up high and keep looking forward and I know for a fact that my Heavenly Father placed this friend into my life at just the perfect time. Because without this friend I'm not sure I would be able to look myself in the mirror daily and say that certain things were possible for me. He has told me so much in a way that just makes sense... for example he didn't just tell me to stop worrying he reminded me that caring and worrying are totally different things and to let God handle all of my problems. Let God do the worrying. Also, he has taught me that friendship isn't something that is deserved or not... it either is or it isn't. A friend is someone who won't hold a grudge or stay mad at you for a long period of time. A friend is someone you can count on and someone that will banter with you and sometimes even let you figure your problems out on your own with every once in a while giving some pretty good advice. Also, "let go"... the passed is just that... a memory that you may never forget, but in order to heal you must "let go." You don't have to forget to do it, but just look at life as different. Lastly, I remember the first time he told me a story about when he was having a rough day at work and so were all of his coworkers and he was with one of his good friends and he just decided to ask his friend, "what are you looking forward to?" Now, all the time I can hear him saying to me "Frances, what are you really looking forward to?" When you think of things to look forward to you become happier and much of the sadness you have been feeling goes away! I'm not sure why God placed this friend in my life at this time, but at the same time I am eternally grateful to him. I want him to know that I respect him for everything he has done for me, and the fact that he has truly taught me that I am in NO WAY alone! :D Thank you friend.
