Ooobladee Ooblada Life Goes On..
So, as of late I have had some pretty huge blows in my life, but instead of sitting around and sulking and feeling sorry for myself I have decided to hold my head up high and think all is well cause LIFE GOES ON! I am going to leave people guessing as to what I want to do in my life next... let's just say the next few months are going to be full of working (I'm finding a new job) and studying hard for a test I've been SERIOUS about taking because I want to go back to school for a dream... if you would like to know for well, I'll just leave a few clues, but first here is the fam

Thanks to a friend...
I hope this friend ends up reading this post. I know he reads many of my posts and well I really hope he sees this one. I'm not going to say his name, but I'm sure he knows it's him (of course knowing me I will tell him it's him).
Anyway, over the past few months a few things have gotten extremely rough in my life, but I've somehow managed to hold my head up high and keep looking forward and I know for a fact that my Heavenly Father placed this friend into my life at just the perfect time. Because without this friend I'm not sure I would be able to look myself in the mirror daily and say that certain things were possible for me. He has told me so much in a way that just makes sense... for example he didn't just tell me to stop worrying he reminded me that caring and worrying are totally different things and to let God handle all of my problems. Let God do the worrying. Also, he has taught me that friendship isn't something that is deserved or not... it either is or it isn't. A friend is someone who won't hold a grudge or stay mad at you for a long period of time. A friend is someone you can count on and someone that will banter with you and sometimes even let you figure your problems out on your own with every once in a while giving some pretty good advice. Also, "let go"... the passed is just that... a memory that you may never forget, but in order to heal you must "let go." You don't have to forget to do it, but just look at life as different. Lastly, I remember the first time he told me a story about when he was having a rough day at work and so were all of his coworkers and he was with one of his good friends and he just decided to ask his friend, "what are you looking forward to?" Now, all the time I can hear him saying to me "Frances, what are you really looking forward to?" When you think of things to look forward to you become happier and much of the sadness you have been feeling goes away! I'm not sure why God placed this friend in my life at this time, but at the same time I am eternally grateful to him. I want him to know that I respect him for everything he has done for me, and the fact that he has truly taught me that I am in NO WAY alone! :D Thank you friend.

an update....
Well followers life has been pretty busy for the past month which is why I have not posted. The past month I have gone to a wedding, done stuff with friends, and given placement tests to students at work. Along with going to bridal showers and helping prepare for my brother's wedding in three weeks. Yes, my brother is getting married on May 18th! That's 8 days after I turn 25. I still can't believe I'll be that old. I'm starting to feel it too. I must say I am very ready for the summer to begin, but I'm also very tired and will definitely need the break.
Today I went and had crawfish with friends... twas marvelous and can't wait until fam gets here in about 2 weeks! Here are some pictures from all the great events, but just a few cause if you want all the pics you gotta look on the book of faces.

Insightful thoughts.
It has been almost a month since I last posted on here and the truth is that I haven't really had much to talk about. However, much has been happening in my life. To start off I have truly been able to find out a ton about myself. I have to say that all of it has been a huge growing experience. I have been able to truly figure out what it means to be a friend to someone and be there when a friend needs you. Also, I have learned how to not get too upset with my family... I love my family, but at times family doesn't always get along. A friend of mine recently taught me that when I get upset to just calmly say okay and then think about it later when I don't have to stress on it. I have gotten to the point where I have been reading my scriptures more and been studying my french more and reading my Ensign each month. I love listening to the words of the Prophets even more now than I used to. I love going up to the temple and doing sessions or even to just drive by and listen to the peacefulness that surrounds me. On the way to work each morning I have a cd in my stereo system so I can just stay calm and have a chance to relax.
Also, I have realized that Utah isn't such a crazy place and isn't that bad... to be totally honest when I first left college and came to Utah I wasn't very excited about living here. However, the place has grown on me... I think most of it has to do with the amazing people I have met. I have truly been blessed at this time in my life. I have some of the greatest friends that I have ever had. This includes some of the people I knew from college... I have realized that life can truly keep going and keep getting better.
Lastly, I want to remind everyone that this weekend is General Conference if you aren't a member of my church you can still watch it at LDS.org or after each session on youtube on the mormon channel. This is where we receive inspiration from the Lord through His servants. Also, my favorite holiday is coming up... Easter approaches and I just wanted to let everyone know that if they want to see what I did last year for Easter to just look at my archives from Easter and you can see my reflections on the week of Easter! May God continue to bless each and every one of us!
